Proclamation honoring Robert Fragasso for earning the Diamond Award from the Pittsburgh Business Times.

WHEREAS, Pittsburgh area Certified Financial Planner and financial planning firm founder Robert Fragasso was recently honored with the Diamond Award from the Pittsburgh Business Times; and
WHEREAS, the Diamond Award is presented annually to only 12 top Presidents and CEOs throughout Western Pennsylvania; and
WHEREAS, Mr. Fragasso became a Certified Financial Planner in 1982 and was recently honored as a founding member of that profession; and
WHEREAS, as founder and President of Fragasso Financial Advisors, Mr. Fragasso directs the planning, management, analysis, research and review of all client programs; and
WHEREAS, Mr. Fragasso frequently works with Group members to conduct seminars on financial planning, new investment opportunities, and economic development for existing and prospective clients; and
WHEREAS, Mr. Fragasso also takes the time to lecture at area corporations, universities, business organizations and service groups and works diligently with Group financial advisors to maintain direct contact with their clients on a regular basis; and
WHEREAS, Mr. Fragasso is active in a number of charities and organizations outside of the office, including his work with Animal Friends, his service as a member of the Board of Governors of the Rivers Club, and his former service as President of Amen Corner, among many others; and
WHEREAS, in addition to being recognized with the Diamond Award, Mr. Fragasso has also been recognized nationally as one of the 100 Best Investment Advisors by The Best of the U.S., Inc., one of the Top 100 Investment Advisors by Barron's Magazine, and one of the Top 10 Investment Advisors by Registered Rep Magazine;
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, Allegheny County Council hereby congratulates Mr. Robert Fragasso for earning the distinction of the Diamond Award from the Pittsburgh Business Times. We commend you on your dedication to providing your clients with exemplary service and wish you continued success in your future endeavors.
