Title
An Ordinance of the County of Allegheny, Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, to amend and revise in part the fees and rates schedule of the Department of Parks for the use of certain County recreational and park facilities, the fees and rates schedule of the County Medical Examiner for certain services provided by the County Medical Examiner to be effective January 1, 2009 and the fees and rates schedule of the County Department of Real Estate for certain services provided by the Department of Real Estate to be effective February 1, 2009.
Body
Whereas, the County desires to amend and revise in part rates and fees for the public use of certain County recreational and park facilities, certain services provided by the Medical Examiner and services provided by the Department of Real Estate; and
Whereas, Article IV, Section 2.b. of the Allegheny County Home Rule Charter vests the County's Council with the power to establish fees and service charges.
The Council of the County of Allegheny hereby enacts as follows:
Section 1.
The provisions set forth in the preamble to this Ordinance are incorporated by reference as set forth in their entirety herein.
Section 2.
Effective January 1, 2009, Ordinance 07-06 is hereby amended as set forth in Exhibit “A” attached hereto and incorporated by reference in its entirety herein. All other rates and fees in the Department of Parks shall remain as previously established by Ordinance 07-06.
Effective January 1, 2009, the fees and rates schedule for the Medical Examiner is amended and revised in part as set forth in Exhibit “B” attached hereto and incorporated by reference in its entirety herein. All other rates and fees in the Medical Examiner shall remain as previously established.
Effective February 1, 2009, the fees and rates schedule for the Department of Real Estate is amended and revised in part as set forth in Exhibit “C” attached hereto and incorporated by reference in its entirety herein. All other rates and fees in the Department of Real Estate shall remain as previously established.
SUMMARY OF LEGISALTION
This legislation would amend and revise in part the fees and rates schedule of the Department of Parks for the use of certain County recreational and park facilities, the fees and rates schedule of the County Medical Examiner for certain services provided by the County Medical Examiner and the fees and rates schedule of the County Department of Real Estate for certain services provided by the Department of Real Estate to be effective February 1, 2009.
