This Certificate of Recognition is presented to Erica and Steve Diethorn, owners of Ma and Pop’s Country Kitchen in Bethel Park, PA. In January 2018, the couple bought the diner on South Park Road in Bethel Park and decided to do something special for people during the holidays. Now for the second year in a row, Erica and Steve will host Thanksgiving for anyone who otherwise would be alone or have difficulty paying for dinner. With the help of over sixty volunteers, the couple is expected to serve more than 100 dinners, both to-go and in-house. Allegheny County Council recognizes and thanks Erica and Steve Diethorn for their dedicated service to the community and providing a warm Thanksgiving meal to those in need.
