Proclamation recognizing Mr. Lawrence Lennon for being named Diplomate Water Resources Engineer by the American Academy of Water Resources Engineers.

WHEREAS, infrastructure providing sanitation and clean water is one of the key resources of any modern community; and
WHEREAS, our community has been blessed with outstanding organizations and individuals providing these vital resources for our citizens, among them being Lawrence Lennon, founding principal of Lennon, Smith, Souleret Engineering, Inc; and
WHEREAS, Lennon began his career in civil engineering over forty years ago and as Principal-in-Charge of Lennon, Smith, Souleret Engineering, Inc. currently represents more than 45 local government entities; and
WHEREAS, during his tenure as Principal-in-Charge, Lennon has handled his various assignments with the utmost dedication and professionalism, among them more than 50 major water and wastewater projects; and
WHEREAS, Lawrence Lennon has recently been named a Diplomate Water Resources Engineer by the American Academy of Water Resources Engineers, having attained the superior professional education and experience necessary to that prestigious title;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that Allegheny County Council does hereby commend Mr. Lawrence Lennon for his many years of productive contributions to the general public and his many services offered to our grateful citizens. We join his devoted family, friends and colleagues in wishing him all the best as he continues to offer all of us his valuable services, sharing great pride in this extraordinary individual whose dedication to serving the citizens of our great County of Allegheny serves as an inspiration to us all.
