Allegheny County Council is proud to present this Certificate of Achievement to you in recognition of your outstanding bowling ability in which you earned 1^st Place in the 12-and-over division at the U.S. Bowling Congress Handicap Division Nationals in Buffalo, New York.  Derrick also earned 1^st Place in the state qualifier in Lancaster, Pennsylvania in which he defeated 35 other bowlers.  His average bowling score was 102 when he went to Lancaster and was 121 when he went to Buffalo.  He has won three scholarships, all of which will be used for college expenses.  This distinguished endeavor and accomplishment is worthy of our County of Champions, earning the esteem of the citizens of Allegheny County.  Your achievement has conferred honor upon the County to be shared by each of us and, for that, we commend you.
