Proclamation commending Mr. Michael Louik, Esquire for his years of service as the first Chairman of Allegheny County's Accountability, Conduct and Ethics Commission.

 

Body

 

WHEREAS, the Accountability, Conduct and Ethics Commission (ACE) of Allegheny County was fortunate to have Mr. Michael Louik, Esquire, serve as Chairman for the organization's first four years; and

 

WHEREAS, we commend Mr. Louik for his service in initiating the Commission and for his work with County Council in guiding the establishment of the ACE Commission; and

 

WHEREAS, Mr. Louik gave unstintingly of his own time and of the resources of his law firm in wording and producing letters, memos and related documents; and

 

WHEREAS, his chairmanship has been fair and his opinions wise in rendering justice in the cases brought before the Accountability, Conduct and Ethics Commission; and

 

WHEREAS, the Commission Members thank Mr. Louik for his excellent work and trust that his counsel will be part of their deliberations in his ongoing term in office as a member; 

 

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that Allegheny County Council does hereby commend Mr. Michael Louik for his exemplary work as the first Chairman of the Allegheny County Accountability, Conduct and Ethics Commission.  We extol your leadership and guidance, which serves as an inspiration to the ACE Commission, to this Council, and to the residents of Allegheny County.
