An Ordinance of the County Of Allegheny, Commonwealth Of Pennsylvania Authorizing the Chief Executive to Execute a Deed Conveying the County Of Allegheny's interest In a parcel jointly owned by the County Of Allegheny, Township of Robinson and Montour School District to William Fadeley.

Whereas, the County of Allegheny, the Township of Robinson and the Montour School District acquired title to certain parcels known as Block & Lot 273-P-888, Block & Lot 273-P-289, Block & Lot 273-P-291, Block & Lot 273-P-292, and Block & Lot 273-P-293 ("the Parcels") pursuant to tax sale action and Sheriff's Deed verified on August 10, 1984 executed pursuant to proceedings in the Court of Common Pleas at GD n/a, 2614, 2129, 2615 and 2126 respectively; and
Whereas, the Parcels were advertised as one property and publicly advertised for sale at minimum acceptable sealed bid of $5,600; and
Whereas, William Fadeley was the successful bidder by submitting the highest bid of six thousand one hundred dollars ($6,100.00); and
Whereas, Article IV Section 2(l) of the Allegheny County Home Rule Charter vests County's Council with the power and duty by ordinance to convey real property owned by the County.
The Council of the County of Allegheny hereby enacts as follows:
SECTION 1.
The provisions set forth in the preamble to this Ordinance are incorporated by reference in their entirety herein.
SECTION 2.
The County Council of Allegheny County hereby does approve the transfer of the interest held therein by the County of Allegheny in certain parcelS known as Block & Lot 273-P-888, Block & Lot 273-P-289, Block & Lot 273-P-291, Block & Lot 273-P-292, and Block & Lot 273-P-293 to William Fadeley for and in consideration of the sum of six thousand one hundred dollars ($6,100).
