This Certificate of Recognition is presented to Ms. Mildred Smilja Blagovich (Zivkovich) upon the momentous occasion of her 100th birthday. Ms. Blagovich was born on November 10, 1914. Mildred is the wife of the late Michael Blagovich. She was active in various organizations at St. Sava Serbian Orthodox Church, including serving on the church board for many years and being a member of the Holy Trinity Kolo and Sisterhood. Known as a superb baker, Mildred made banana crème and lemon meringue pies for church bake sales and International Village. Mildred has a daughter, Melva (Richard) Buzzelli, and five great-grandchildren. A celebration for Mildred was held on Sunday, November 16, 2014, at St. Sava Serbian Orthodox Church in McKeesport, with church family and friends and great-grandchildren. We honor Ms. Blagovich for her positive outlook on life, and we wish her all the best and join her family and friends in celebration of her 100th birthday.
