This Certificate of Recognition is presented to Ms. Caroline Medved of McKeesport upon the momentous occasion of her 100th birthday. Caroline was born on May 9, 1909 in the village of Munjava, Croatia. She was the first child born to Ivan and Janja and is the sister of George Kolic, Ann Luketic, Mildred Matta and the late Ivan Kolic. Caroline's nieces and nephews affectionately refer to her as “Teta Caroline.” She is the loving “Baba” to nine grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and eight great-great-grandchildren. Currently, as it was throughout her life, Caroline remains an active member of her community. We congratulate her on this impressive milestone, and on behalf of the residents of Allegheny County, we wish her a joyous and healthy 100th year of life.
