Allegheny County Council is honored to present this Certificate of Recognition to the Springdale Volunteer Fire Company upon the monumental occasion of the department's 100th anniversary. The hundreds of firemen who have passed through the Springdale department have loyally served the citizens of our County for 100 years, continually answering the challenging call of duty by placing their lives at risk to secure the safety and protection of their neighbors. We are privileged to recognize the collective dedication of all of the individuals of the company. The longevity of the department and the leadership it displays in serving our community is to be looked upon with great pride. We congratulate the Springdale Volunteer Fire Company on this great milestone, and we wish the department much luck in the future.
