The Council of the County of Allegheny hereby enacts as follows:

 

Section 1.       Allegheny County Board of Elections is hereby directed to place the following question

                                              on the May 20, 2003 Municipal Primary Ballot:

 

 

In order for the voters of Allegheny County to have a better selection of candidates for elected offices at the federal, state, county and local level, shall Article III of Allegheny County's Home Rule Charter be amended to delete Subsection 6(b) of Article III, which subsection places restrictions on the ability of certain persons to run for federal, state, county and local offices.
