WHEREAS, the County of Allegheny, the City of Pittsburgh and the City of Pittsburgh School District acquired title to certain parcels pursuant to City Treasurer Sale actions on parcels known as 56-B-314, 56-B-315, 56-B-316, 56-B-317, 56-F-91, 56-F-100 all acquired by the three taxing bodies at City Treasurer sale on April 24, 1995; and also 56-F-101 acquired at City Treasurer sale on December 12, 1994; 56-F-107 acquired on March 30, 1992; and 56-F-108 acquired on September 19, 1988 ("the Parcels"); and
WHEREAS, the Parcels have remained vacant and tax exempt since the time of the Treasurer's Sales; and
WHEREAS, the Urban Redevelopment Authority ("URA") desires to acquire the Parcels from the Three Taxing Bodies at a purchase price yet to be determined plus costs in order to convey the properties free and clear to a redeveloper, acting under the direction of the URA; and
WHEREAS, the Parcels are already located within a part of the Hazelwood neighborhood designated as a Keystone Opportunity Expansion Zone under the Commonwealth's Keystone Opportunity Zone program; and
WHEREAS, Article IV Section 2(l) of the Allegheny County Home Rule Charter vests County's Council with the power and duty by ordinance to convey real property owned by the County.

The Council of the County of Allegheny hereby enacts as follows:

SECTION 1.
The provisions set forth in the preamble to this Ordinance are incorporated by reference in their entirety herein.
