This Certificate of Recognition is presented to the Garden Club of McKeesport in honor of your 75^th anniversary.  The Garden Club was founded in 1933 by Mrs. Joseph A. Wilkinson of McKeesport, who hosted 26 women in her home and was elected the first president of the Club.  Three years later, the group was federated and had already grown to include 50 members.  Currently, the Garden Club is led by Jane Miller and has 45 members who meet once a month as a group, but who commit an average 650 volunteer hours each month in order to keep the gardens at their best.  This year's anniversary celebration will include garden tours and music, allowing area residents to enjoy the stunning results of 75 years of hard work.  On behalf of the citizens of Allegheny County, we join with the Garden Club of McKeesport as you celebrate your 75^th anniversary and we wish you many more years of success.
