Proclamation commending Connie McKee for her many years of service to the Borough of Millvale.

WHEREAS, Allegheny County is blessed to have leaders who commit themselves wholeheartedly to serving our communities; and
WHEREAS, Connie McKee has served the Borough of Millvale since July of 2000; and
WHEREAS, as Assistant to the Borough Manager, Ms. McKee's duties have included accounts payable, payroll, and delinquent wage tax collection, among many other responsibilities; and
WHEREAS, additionally, Ms. McKee has been instrumental in the planning aspects of the annual Millvale Community Days Parade; and
WHEREAS, Ms. McKee has been described by the Borough Manager as, “an asset to the borough. She has given many hours of her own time in helping the borough and the Millvale Borough Development Corporation with their community events. She has been a joy to have as an employee and will be greatly missed”;
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, Allegheny County Council hereby commends Connie McKee on her demonstrated commitment to serving the Borough of Millvale. On behalf of the residents of Allegheny County, we thank you for your many contributions and wish you the best of luck as you prepare to retire.
