An Ordinance of the County of Allegheny, Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, amending Ordinance Nos. 07-06 and 31-08, the existing schedule of facility and recreational rates and fees for the use of County recreational and park facilities.
Whereas, the County of Allegheny (hereinafter referred to as “County”) owns and operates certain recreational and park facilities; and
Whereas, the County desires to establish and revise rates and fees for the public use of the recreational and park facilities; and
Whereas, Ordinance No. 07-06 established the schedule of rental rates for the County’s park facilities and 31-08 revised, and
Whereas, Article IV, Section 2(b) of the Allegheny County Home Rule Charter vests the County’s Council with the power to establish and revise rates and fees for the public use of the recreational and park facilities.
The Council of the County of Allegheny hereby enacts as follows:
SECTION 1. Incorporation of the Preamble
The provisions set forth in the preamble to this Ordinance are incorporated by reference in their entity herein.
SECTION 2. Parks Department Rates and Fees

a. Eliminate group tour discounts.
4. Tea Parties: $30 per person
a. Increase fee to $33 per person.
M. Boyce Park, Settlers Cabin, North Park and South Park Wave/Swimming Pools:
2. Group Discount Admission:
Adult: $3.00 Resident: $5.00; Non-Resident: $6.00
Junior: $3.00 Resident: $4.00; Non-Resident: $5.00
Youth: $2.25 Resident: $4.00; Non-Resident: $5.00
Children: $1.00
Senior Citizen: $2.25
O. Permit Reservation Fees:
12. White Oak Park Groves
e. Add Wedding Garden as a rentable grove at $25/4 hours
R. North Park and South Park Outdoor Ice Skating Rinks:
12. Group Discount Rate: $2.00 (All)
Adults: $4.00
Children/Youth/Junior/Senior Citizens: $2.00
Stipulate that group rates are not available for the Friday and Saturday night sessions
