Proclamation honoring the District 4 Outgoing Elected Officials for their service to Allegheny County.

 

Body

WHEREAS, Allegheny County District 4 is comprised of Bridgeville, Carnegie, Collier, Crafton, Findlay, Glenfield, Haysville, Heidelberg, Kennedy, McKees Rocks, Neville, North Fayette, Oakdale, Osborne, Pennsbury Village, Robinson, Rosslyn Farms, Scott, Stowe and Thornburg; and

 

WHEREAS, each of these townships and boroughs is home to elected officials who sacrifice an extraordinary amount of time and effort to ensure that the residents they serve can live safe, healthy, and enjoyable lives; and

 

WHEREAS, as we begin to move forward in 2008, it is important to recognize all of the elected officials whose terms ended in 2007; and

 

WHEREAS, outgoing Township Commissioners include Mark Panizzi (Kennedy), Aaron Kohan (Neville), Jim McGrath (Neville), Richard Phillips (Neville), Dave Winning (Robinson), David Henderson (Scott), Dominic DiMichele (Stowe), William Scalise (Collier), Darlene Restich (Collier), Jackie Burkhart (Collier), and Township Supervisor Dan Fink (North Fayette); and

 

WHEREAS, additionally, outgoing Borough Council Members include Lorraine Logue (McKees Rocks), Jim Porter (Oakdale), Jack Bateman (Oakdale), Deborah Colosimo (Bridgeville), Steven Tassaro (Rosslyn Farms), Lawrence Harkovich (Carnegie), and Thomas Snyder (Carnegie);

 

 

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that Allegheny County Council wishes to thank the District 4 outgoing elected officials for all of their hard work while serving with their respective municipal governments.  Your dedication to the citizens of your townships and boroughs and to all of Allegheny County is an inspiration to all of us, and we wish you luck in your future endeavors.
