NOW THEREFORE, IT IS MOVED, BY THE COUNCIL OF ALLEGHENY COUNTY,

 

 

That this Council will hereby appoint a Special Committee of Council to investigate the circumstances surrounding the sudden announcement by US Airways that it is considering the possibility of dropping Pittsburgh as a hub, requiring significant subsidy for its new ventures, notably its new commuter airline, and requesting operating lease concessions to increase their profitability.
