Certificate of Recognition congratulating Mr. Peter C. Drummond upon the occasion of his 81st birthday.

This Certificate of Recognition is presented to Mr. Peter (Pete) Charles Drummond of Stanton Heights upon the momentous occasion of his 81st birthday. Mr. Drummond was born on July 25, 1936 to Mr. and Mrs. Moses and Joelee Drummond. An East Liberty native, Mr. Drummond joined the Marines after graduating from Westinghouse High School. He served for 21 years in the Marines as a gunnery sergeant and completed two tours of duty in Vietnam (1966-67 and 1969-70). After brief stints as a firefighter and working for the Parks and Recreation department, he became a City of Pittsburgh Police Officer in 1976. Mr. Drummond protected and served the public for more than 30 years. His daughter Renee’ Drummond-Brown and son-in-law Cardell Nino Brown, Sr. are also retired City of Pittsburgh Police Officers. Peter was married to the late Barbara Ann Harris-Drummond, and father to Delbert Dwayne Drummond, the late Pastor Shawn Charles Drummond and Renee’ Drummond-Brown. We honor and thank Mr. Peter C. Drummond for his dedicated service to our country and community, and we wish him and his family all the best as he celebrates his 81st birthday.
