This Certificate of Recognition is presented to Ms. Patricia Williams upon the momentous occasion of her retirement on December 30, 2014 after 39 years of dedicated service to the City of McKeesport. In 1976, Ms. Williams became a deputy clerk and in 1985, she was promoted to city clerk. When Ms. Williams moved into her role as city clerk, the deputy position was eliminated, and she took on additional responsibilities while maintaining her previous clerical tasks. For nearly four decades, Ms. Williams managed the city's business on behalf of seven mayors and many more council members. Throughout her tenure, she remained neutral and was known affectionately around city hall as the "Little Mayor." This Council congratulates Ms. Patricia Williams upon the momentous occasion of her retirement, we thank Ms. Williams for her 39 years of service to the City of McKeesport, and we wish her well as she moves into the future.
