A Resolution of the County of Allegheny amending the 2006 Capital Budget for Allegheny County.

Whereas, the County has adopted a Capital Budget for the fiscal year beginning

January 1, 2006 and ending December 31, 2006; and

 

Whereas County Council desires to amend the 2006 Capital Budget.

 

The Council of the County of Allegheny hereby resolves as follows:

 

 

SECTION 1.                                          Incorporation of Preamble.

 

                     The provisions set forth in the preamble to this Resolution are incorporated by reference in their entity herein.

 

SECTION 2.                     Approval of Capital Budget Amendment.

 

                     The County Council of Allegheny County approves the amendment to the Allegheny County 2006 Capital Budget as set forth in Attachment “A” hereto by reducing the appropriations established for the projects entitled “HAVA Compliant Voting Machines” and establishing an appropriation for a new project entitled “HAVA Compliant Voting Machines Paper Verification System Upgrade” in the amount of $3,000,000.  Funding for the new project will be provided by the County as set forth in Attachment “A”.

 

SECTION 3.                                          Line Item Detail Amendment.

 

                     The line item detail of the appropriations previously approved by Council shall be amended as reflected in Attachment “A” hereto, the provisions of which are incorporated herein by reference.

 

 

SECTION 4.                     Severability.                     If any provision of this Resolution shall be determined to be unlawful, invalid, void or unenforceable, then that provision shall be considered severable from the remaining provisions of this Resolution which shall be in full force and effect.

 

SECTION 5.                     Repealer.                     Any resolution or ordinance or part thereof conflicting with the provisions of this Resolution is hereby repealed so far as the same affects this Resolution.
