This Certificate of Achievement is awarded to Mr. Samuel J. Miller Jr. of Boy Scout Troop 248 in recognition of his attainment of the prestigious rank of Eagle Scout, scouting’s most distinguished honor. This Council commends Mr. Miller’s diligence and skill: two traits he has displayed throughout his scouting career, his growth as a junior assistant scoutmaster, and his dedication to our community. For his Eagle Scout project, Mr. Miller worked with members of the Oakdale Masonic Hall 669 to organize a child identification event with the Children’s Health Insurance Program. Throughout his participation in the Boy Scouts, Mr. Miller has set a high standard of commitment and fervor that the youth of our great county may follow. He serves as an inspiration to this Council and to the citizens of Allegheny County.
