Motion of the Council of Allegheny County pulling Bill No. 4339-08, clarifying the County's relation to the authorities designated as "County Authorities" within the Administrative Code, from committee for an immediate final vote.
Body
WHEREAS, Bill No. 4339-08 was introduced and referred to the Committee on Government Reform on September 23, 2008; and
WHEREAS, September 23, 2008 was one hundred and six (106) days prior to the Regular Meeting at which this Motion will be introduced; and
WHEREAS, the Rules of Allegheny County Council, Article IV, Section B.1., allow for bills to be pulled from committee by affirmative vote of a majority of the seated members of Council, if such motion is made after sixty (60) days from the date of the first reading of the bill;
NOW THEREFORE, IT IS MOVED, BY THE COUNCIL OF ALLEGHENY COUNTY,
That this Council hereby pulls Bill No. 4339-08 from the Committee on Government Reform and authorizes an immediate final vote on the bill.
