Allegheny County Council is honored to present this Certificate of Recognition to Keystone Oaks School District upon the monumental occasion of its 40^th year of existence.  Starting in the late 1960s when the communities of Castle Shannon, Dormont and Green Tree combined school districts to form an unprecedented body of learning for the students of the area, Keystone Oaks has grown into one of the premiere school districts in Allegheny County. It has set a high standard of educational value that the other school districts of our region can follow to improve their quality.  We congratulate Keystone Oaks School District on this fine milestone and hope the district continues to flourish into the future.
