Mrs. Loretta Diggs of McKeesport, PA celebrates her 85th Birthday this year surrounded by family, friends and loved ones. Mrs. Diggs married her husband Samuel, with whom she celebrated 47 years of marriage until his passing. Mrs. Diggs is a retired registered nurse and a dedicated McKeesport Democratic Committeewoman for many years. After 40 years in politics, Mrs. Diggs was elected as the first African-American woman to serve as vice president of McKeesport city council. We honor and commend Mrs. Loretta Diggs for her longevity and commitment to community service, and we wish her the best as she celebrates her 85th birthday.
