This Certificate of Recognition is presented to Mr. Raymond Ehrman upon the momentous occasion of his 100th birthday.  Mr. Ehrman was born on November 19, 1915, in Squirrel Hill, the only child of Raymond and Grace Ehrman. He graduated from Taylor Allderdice High School and from the University of Pittsburgh with a business degree, and in 1941 became a certified public accountant.  He worked as an accountant while serving in the Army Air Corps, achieving the rank of staff sergeant during stints in the U.S. and England. While in Wales, he met a Scottish girl, Agnes “Dolly” McIlree, and married her on April 18, 1945. After returning to Pittsburgh, Mr. Ehrman worked as an accountant for Weller Coal Co., Adler & Co., and Touche Ross & Co. He retired at age 67 and became controller for the Civic Light Opera until 1990. He worked as a CPA until 2002.  A longtime member of the Jaycees, Mr. Ehrman served one term as president. Mr. and Mrs. Ehrman have three children, Jim, Vicky and Phil and they are the proud grandparents of eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. We honor Mr. Ehrman for his longevity, which can be attributed to his positive outlook on life, and we wish him and his family all the best as he celebrates his 100th birthday.
