An Ordinance of the County of Allegheny, Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, Authorizing the County Manager to Enter into a Lease Agreement with the Mon Valley Express Drum and Bugle Corp for the Use of Exhibit Building #8 in South Park.

Whereas, the Mon Valley Express Drum & Bugle Corp performs musical marching routines in parades and at local community functions throughout the County; and
Whereas, the Mon Valley Express Drum & Bugle Corp is in need of a facility to practice their music and marching routines and is desirous of leasing Exhibit Building No. 8 at South Park for this purpose; and
Whereas, the Parks Department is willing to lease to the Mon Valley Express Drum & Bugle Corp Exhibit Building No. 8 at South Park for the aforesaid purpose for either $200/month or, in lieu of said payment, various refurbishments/repairs to be made by them to Building No. 8 in lieu of rent; and
Whereas, Mon Valley Express Drum & Bugle Corp will provide all required liability insurance and fire insurance.
The Council of the County of Allegheny hereby enacts as follows:
SECTION 1. Incorporation of the Preamble
The provisions set forth in the preamble to this Ordinance are incorporated by reference as set forth in their entirety herein.
SECTION 2. Authorization to enter into agreements for the use of County Park Facilities.
The County Council of Allegheny County does hereby grant authority to the County Manager to enter into a lease agreement with the Mon Valley Express Drum & Bugle Corp for the use of Building No. 8 at South Park for the purpose of practicing musical and marching routines for either $200/month rent or the equivalent in refurbishments/repairs to Building No. 8 and such other terms and conditions as approved by the County Manager and the Law Department.
SECTION 3. Severability. If any provision of the Ordinance shall be determined to be
