This Certificate of Recognition is awarded to Bethel Park Volunteer Fire Company, Station No. 110, in honor of your 80th anniversary.  The Bethel Park VFC, a completely self-supporting fire company, maintains three fire stations, owns 10 fire trucks, and has a strong membership of 76 volunteers.  Over 50 percent of the Bethel Park VFC active firefighters are Firefighter I or Firefighter II certified.  The Bethel Park Volunteer Fire Company is one of the greatest community assets of the South Hills.  The citizenry of Allegheny County thanks the Bethel Park VFC for its dedication and unparalleled level of service and professionalism.  Allegheny County Council does hereby recognize and commend the Bethel Park VFC for their courage and dedication to their duties, their numerous acts of bravery displayed, and their high professional standards in protecting the residents of Bethel Park, as well as their unwavering dedication to safety and rescue.
