Motion of the Council of Allegheny County pulling Bill No. 3854-08, providing for certain exemptions from the County's tax on vehicle rentals, from committee for an immediate final vote.
Body
WHEREAS, Bill No. 3854-08-08, providing for certain exemptions from the County's tax on vehicle rentals, was introduced and referred to the Committee on Budget and Finance on March 18, 2008; and
WHEREAS, Bill No. 3854-08 has not yet been discussed by the Committee; and
WHEREAS, the Rules of Allegheny County Council, Article IV, Section B.1., allow for bills to be pulled from committee by the vote of a simple majority if such motion is made after sixty (60) days from the date of the first reading of the bill;
NOW THEREFORE, IT IS MOVED, BY THE COUNCIL OF ALLEGHENY COUNTY,
That this Council hereby pulls Bill No. 3854-08 from the Committee on Budget and Finance and authorizes an immediate final vote on the bill.
