This Certificate of Recognition is presented to Mr. Morton Parker of Whitehall upon the momentous occasion of his 95th birthday. Mr. Parker was born on December 4, 1919. Mr. Parker is a World War II veteran, having served as a U.S. Navy pilot from 1941-1945. Following his military service, Mr. Parker had a successful career as a sales manager in the gas industry. Mr. Parker has been volunteering in the community for more than 60 years. Morton married Peggy on August 21, 1954 at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church of Shadyside, and on August 21, 2014, the couple celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary. They are the proud parents of Paul and John and the grandparents of 8 cherished grandchildren. We thank Mr. Parker for his dedicated service to our nation and our community, we honor Mr. Parker for his positive outlook on life, and we wish him all the best as we join his family and friends in celebration of his 95th birthday.
