WHEREAS, Allegheny County and the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania have been blessed with exemplary leadership throughout the history of our great nation, with visionaries of great knowledge and determination making invaluable contributions to our communities, our country and the world; and
WHEREAS, Peter J. Page has served the Municipality of Bethel Park with honor and distinction for two decades; and
WHEREAS, Bethel Park benefited and grew from his wisdom and leadership developing a quality of life that is one of the strongest in the County; and
WHEREAS, Peter J. Page Park will serve as a lasting memory to the accomplishments and vision as well as a constant reminder of the past built rich in tradition;
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Allegheny County Council recognizes and commends the lifelong work and memory of Peter J. Page and all family members and the positive impact made to Bethel Park. The dedication of Peter J. Page Park is a deserving commemoration and will always be a constant reminder to the rich past of Bethel Park.
