TITLE
An Ordinance of the County of Allegheny, Commonwealth Of Pennsylvania authorizing the conveyance of the County's interest in a parcel to Christopher Rudolf and Karri Rudolf.
BODY
Whereas, the County of Allegheny, the Borough of Wilmerding and the East Allegheny School District acquired title to a certain parcel known as Block 546-F, Lot 82 (“the Parcel”) pursuant to tax sale action and Sheriff's Deed verified on May 11, 2004 executed pursuant to proceedings in the Court of Common Pleas at GD 02-3226; and
Whereas, the East Allegheny School District conducted a sealed bid sale of the property, and
Whereas, Christopher Rudolf and Karri Rudolf were the highest bidders at TWO THOUSAND FIVE HUNDRED DOLLARS ($2,500); and
Whereas, Article IV Section 2(l) of the Allegheny County Home Rule Charter vests County's Council with the power and duty by ordinance to convey real property owned by the County.
The Council of the County of Allegheny hereby enacts as follows:
SECTION 1. Incorporation of the Preamble
The provisions set forth in the preamble to this Ordinance are incorporated by reference as set forth in their entirety herein.
SECTION 2. Transfer of Interest
The County Council of Allegheny County hereby does approve the transfer of the interest held therein by the County of Allegheny in a certain parcel known as Block 546-F Lot #82 to Christopher Rudolf and Karri Rudolf for and in consideration of the sum of TWO THOUSAND FIVE HUNDRED DOLLARS ($2,500).
The proper officers of the County are hereby authorized to execute any and all documents, including a deed, necessary to effectuate the conveyance of the County's interest in the Parcel.
SECTION 3. Severability. If any provision of the Ordinance shall be determined to be
unlawful, invalid, void or unenforceable, then that provision shall be considered
severable from the remaining provisions of this Ordinance which shall continue in full force and effect.
