This certificate is presented to Foxwall Emergency Medical Services for becoming a designated Safe Place in Allegheny County. It is estimated over one million youth run away from home each year due to abuse, neglect, family conflicts and other issues. The Safe Place program, operated by Familylinks, is an option for young people who feel they have nowhere to turn. Allegheny County Council recognizes Foxwall EMS for becoming the first designated Safe Place in the North Hills, and we commend them for their continued dedication to providing services to those in need throughout Allegheny County.
