This Certificate of Recognition is awarded to Ms. Deanna Ferchak for her outstanding efforts in honoring veterans during Veteran's Day for a countless number of years at Emerson Elementary School in West Mifflin, Pennsylvania. This year the Veterans' Day Ceremony called “We Support You” will feature special presentations by the West Mifflin Area High School, Air Force JROTC, Show Choir, ACE students and a performance by the Titan Thunder Marching Band. A “Remembrances of Honor” slide show will present veterans in uniform and all veterans will be honored with a procession through a saber arch. We thank you for your wisdom in remembering our veterans. You have set a high standard of commitment and dedication which the residents of our great County of Allegheny may follow, and which serves as an inspiration to this Council and the citizens of Allegheny County.
