Proclamation recognizing the 10th anniversary of HCR ManorCare Health Services.

WHEREAS, Allegheny County medical and rehabilitation facilities provide a superior level of care to patients who need assistance in returning to independent lives; and
WHEREAS, HCR ManorCare Health Services of the Borough of Whitehall has proven to be a leader in providing short term medical and rehabilitation services to the community for the past 10 years; and
WHEREAS, the center is a provider and an employer of many people in the community, and they continuously and positively impact patients, families and employees; and
WHEREAS, by specifically caring for each patient's individual need, the center provides a unique opportunity for patients to progress toward goals and to achieve their highest possible level of function and independence; and
WHEREAS, when the Whitehall center celebrates its 10th anniversary on August 28, 2009, the festivities will rightfully commemorate the great success of the facility, which thrives because of an incredible staff and outstanding programs;
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, Allegheny County Council, on behalf of the citizens of Allegheny County, hereby commends HCR ManorCare Health Services of the Borough of Whitehall for its unending service to the community and congratulates the center on its 10th anniversary. We thank you for your incredible work, and we hope it continues long into the future.
