In recognition of your win in the Southwestern Pennsylvania Science Bowl, successfully defending the title you captured last year, we commend you. Your diligence and fervor to further your knowledge and your initiative to accept the challenge of the 2004 Department of Energy's National Science Bowl Competition resulted in Taylor Allderdice placing seventh nationally. Your determination and resolve have led you to levels of achievement in which the entire community can be proud, and sets a positive example of excellence for all of Allegheny County. We hereby officially commend you on this distinguished accomplishment, which has earned the respect and esteem of this Council and the citizens of Allegheny County.
