This Certificate of Recognition is presented to Mr. and Mrs. Jerry and Sylvia Lynn upon the monumental occasion of their 50th wedding anniversary. Mr. and Mrs. Lynn were married on December 20, 1965. Sylvia is a former school board member of the North Hills School District. She is the President of the Berkeley Hills Lutheran Church Council, Vice-President of Thrivent Lutheran Brotherhood, member of the Synod Advocacy Committee, Co-Chair of the Board of Anchorpoint Counseling Ministry, Treasurer for the Alliance Against Drugs, and member of the Global Missions Committee. Jerry is President of the Lutheran Disaster Response Southwest Pennsylvania Synod. We acknowledge Mr. and Mrs. Lynn’s sacrifices of time, treasures and talents; they personify the spirit of volunteerism. The couple has three adult children, Angela, Brian and Jonathan, and they are the proud grandparents of several cherished grandchildren. We are pleased to recognize the couple’s impressive dedication to each other over so many years; only two people who are truly meant for one another can spend their lives together. We congratulate Jerry and Sylvia on this great milestone and wish them much happiness in the future.
