Queen, Girls' Division of the 85th National Marbles Tournament

Allegheny County Council is proud to present this Certificate of Achievement to Amber Ricci for winning the girls' division of the 85th National Marbles Tournament, held in Wildwood, New Jersey.  Amber displayed her exceptional marble-shooting skills by winning the Allegheny County tournament in May and moving forward to beat competitor Janelle Myers of West Virginia 8 to 2 at the National Competition in June.  This year's competition marked the fifth time in five years that Allegheny County has produced a marbles champion and the first time in the past 33 years that both the boys' and the girls' national champions hailed from the same location.  On behalf of the residents of Allegheny County, we hereby commend you for this outstanding accomplishment.
