Allegheny County Council is proud to present this Certificate of Recognition to The Honorable Carol M. Haines for her 24 years of dedicated service to the Township of South Versailles. As the township treasurer/tax collector, Ms. Haines was responsible for receiving and depositing all monies due the township, for keeping distinct and accurate accounts of all sums received from taxes and other sources, paying out all monies of the township on direction by the board of commissioners, annually state the accounts and make them available to the board of auditors for settlement, and for preserving the account books, papers, documents and other records of the office. After serving for twenty-four years as South Versailles Township's Treasurer/Tax Collector, Ms. Haines retired on December 10, 2013. We hereby recognize and thank Ms. Haines for her 24 years of public service, and we wish her all the best upon her well-deserved retirement.
