This Certificate of Recognition is presented to the McKeesport Model Railroad Club upon the momentous occasion of its 65th Anniversary. The McKeesport Model Railroad Club has been inviting local residents to its annual Christmas display since 1950. The club is a non-profit corporation chartered under the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and has been in its current location, 2209 Walnut Street in McKeesport, since 1987. The Mon-Yough Valley (MYV) Railroad is a fictional coal- and steel-hauling line that runs from Baltimore to Chicago, loosely along the path of the Baltimore & Ohio (B&O) Railroad. The layout represents one portion of the MYV, the Western Pennsylvania Division, running roughly from near McKeesport to near Cumberland, Maryland. We commend the 23 members of the McKeesport Model Railroad Club for its hard work and dedication to producing a display each year and for ensuring that a display will delight families in the future. We hereby congratulate the McKeesport Model Railroad Club upon the momentous occasion of its 65th Anniversary, and we thank the organization for its service to the community.
