Allegheny County Council is honored to present this Certificate of Recognition to Mr. Lawrence J. Lennon, P.E., D.WRE for being named the “2008 Engineer of the Year” by the Engineers' Society of Western Pennsylvania. Mr. Lennon, the founding Principal of Lennon, Smith, Souleret Engineering, Inc., has displayed outstanding professionalism while directing the firm, which partners frequently with municipalities, boroughs and smaller communities throughout Western Pennsylvania. His commitment, especially to environmental engineering, to his field and to bettering our communities is to be commended. We thank him for his service to our county and wish him the best of luck in all of his future endeavors.
