100th Birthday

April 26, 2008

This Certificate of Recognition is presented to Angeline Rose Baroni upon the momentous occasion of her 100th birthday.  Mrs. Baroni was born on April 26, 1908 to John and Frances Pletersek and lived with her family on Sygan Hill in South Fayette.  In 1929, Mrs. Baroni eloped to Pittsburgh by train with Larry Baroni, her late husband, who she re-married two years later at St. Barbara Church in Bridgeville.  The couple had three daughters: Lucille Mosur, Janet Cusick, and the late Joanne Lewis.  Mrs. Baroni now spend much of her time following the Pittsburgh Pirates on television, doing crossword puzzles, and baking Russian tortes, lady locks, and pizzelles and enjoys spending time with her family, including her seven grandchildren and eleven great- grandchildren.  On behalf of the residents of Allegheny County, we congratulate you on this milestone and wish you a joyous and healthy 100th year of life.
