This Certificate of Recognition is presented to Mr. and Mrs. Steve and Myrna Buka upon the momentous occasion of their 50th wedding anniversary. Mr. and Mrs. Buka were married on August 8, 1964 by Father George Wilt in the Sacred Heart Catholic Church of Shadyside. Steve's younger brother, John Buka served as the Best Man, and his older sister, Ann Landy (Buka) served as the Maid of Honor. Steve had a successful career as an engineer and retired from United Engineering. Myrna worked as a dedicated administrative assistant and retired from Westinghouse. Longtime residents of the Town of McCandless, Steve and Myrna are members of Saints John & Paul Roman Catholic Parish. The couple remains active in the community and volunteers for the local Meals on Wheels program. Steve and Myrna are the proud uncle and aunt of many nieces and nephews. We are pleased to recognize the couple's impressive dedication to each other over so many years; only two people who are truly meant for one another can spend their lives together. We congratulate Steve and Myrna on this great milestone and wish them much happiness in the future.
