WHEREAS, CrawfordEllenbogen LLC, a Pittsburgh-based Certified Professional Accountant firm, was recently recognized by Working Mother Magazine as one of the Best Women-Owned Companies in the United States; and
WHEREAS, honorees were chosen for their flexible schedules, creative family-friendly benefits, dedication to their communities, and support of the advancement of female employees; and
WHEREAS, established in 1941, CrawfordEllenbogen specializes in personalized professional services for owners of closely-held businesses, with the aim of contributing significantly and efficiently to clients' cash flow and wealth accumulation; and
WHEREAS, CrawfordEllenbogen also works with companies in bookkeeping as well as in banking, IRS and taxing negotiations, and assists attorneys in a variety of capacities, including litigation support and business, tax and estate planning and development; and
WHEREAS, throughout its 67 years in business, CrawfordEllenbogen has developed into a firm with a reputation for providing its employees with flexible work schedules, which include compressed work weeks or telecommunication, and which afford working mothers the time they need to raise their families; and
