125th Anniversary
This Certificate of Recognition is presented to the Salvation Army McKeesport in honor of your 125th anniversary. In 1865, McKeesport became a home to William Booth's “Christian Mission,” now known as the “Salvation Army.” Today, the Salvation Army McKeesport remains the second oldest mission in existence in the 26 counties of the Western Pennsylvania Division. Headed locally by Captains Sean and Andrea Barton, the Salvation Army McKeesport provides adult program services, disaster services, emergency financial, shelter, food, and nutrition and seasonal services, camping and nutrition programs for older adults, Christian education, men's and women's ministries, and character building and residential camping activities for youth. On behalf of the residents of Allegheny County, we hereby congratulate and recognize you upon this momentous occasion and we thank you for your many contributions to Allegheny County.
