Motion of the Council of Allegheny County approving a public hearing, pursuant to Article II.G. of the Rules of Allegheny County Council to allow the public the opportunity to comment on non-profit entities as they relate to the County's budgetary position. Budget and Finance Chairman William Russell Robinson will serve as the presiding officer.

Public testimony will be scheduled beginning at 5:00 p.m. on ______________, 2008 in the Allegheny County Courthouse Gold Room. Individuals wishing to speak must register in advance in accordance with the rules governing public comment at Council meetings and are also asked to provide twenty copies of their testimony. Written testimony will be accepted through __________, 2008.
President Fitzgerald and Council Members Michael Finnerty and Chuck McCullough have made commitments to attend the hearing.
Upon passage of this motion, the President is asked to take appropriate steps to provide for security for the public hearings and to provide for transcription of testimony given.
NOW THEREFORE, IT IS MOVED, BY THE COUNCIL OF ALLEGHENY COUNTY,
that a public hearing will be held, pursuant to Article II.G. of the Rules of Allegheny County Council on __________, 2008 beginning at 5 p.m. in the Gold Room of the Allegheny County Courthouse. Budget and Finance Chairman William Russell Robinson will serve as the presiding officer. All other provisions of this motion shall be appropriately administered.
