This Certificate of Recognition is awarded to the Pittsburgh Power Basketball Club in honor of your outstanding athletic abilities and your commitment to providing a program which emphasizes individual and team skills, sportsmanship, team spirit, and club loyalty.  Since its founding in 2006 by coaches John Tate and Howie Reid and with the later addition of coach Montel Staples and a multitude of other talented and dedicated adults, the Pittsburgh Power Basketball Club has grown into a program that competes on a national level, providing young women with the opportunity to showcase their talents and abilities and to grow and develop as basketball players.  On behalf of the citizens of Allegheny County, we join with you in celebration of your achievements and commend you on your contributions to Allegheny County's long legacy of sports champions.
