An Ordinance amending the Allegheny County Administrative Code, Article III, Legislative Branch, Section 303.01(A), Organizational Meeting - Date, Time, Place, by eliminating a requirement for time and place of County Council's Organizational Meeting.

The Council of the County of Allegheny hereby enacts as follows:
Section 1.
Article III, Section 303.01(A), of the Administrative Code, which presently reads:
Section 303.01 Organizational Meetings
A. Organizational Meeting - Date, Time, Place
County Council shall organize itself on the first business day of January following each general municipal election at 5:00 p.m. at the County Courthouse.
is hereby amended to read as follows:
Section 303.01 Organizational Meetings
A. Organizational Meeting
County Council shall organize itself on the first business day of January following each general municipal election.

SECTION 2. If any provision of this Ordinance shall be determined to be unlawful, invalid, void or unenforceable, then that provision shall be considered severable from the remaining provisions of this Ordinance which shall be in full force and effect.
SECTION 3. Any Resolution or Ordinance or part thereof conflicting with the provisions of this Ordinance is hereby repealed so far as the same affects this Ordinance.
