Motion of the Council of Allegheny County pulling Bill No. 3677-08, establishing an annual Roberto Clemente Day in Allegheny County, from committee for an immediate final vote.

                     WHEREAS, Bill No. 3677-08, establishing an annual Roberto Clemente Day in Allegheny County, was introduced and referred to the Committee on Government Reform on January 15, 2008; and

 

                     WHEREAS, although Bill No. 3677-08 was discussed by the Committee on March 12, 2008, it has not yet been released for a final vote by the full Council; and

 

                     WHEREAS, the Rules of Allegheny County Council, Article IV, Section B.1., allow for bills to be pulled from committee by the vote of a simple majority if such motion is made after sixty (60) days from the date of the first reading of the bill;

 

NOW THEREFORE, IT IS MOVED, BY THE COUNCIL OF ALLEGHENY COUNTY,

 

That this Council hereby pulls Bill No. 3677-08 from the Committee on Government Reform and authorizes an immediate final vote on the bill.
