Proclamation congratulating Shelley Elovitz upon his 25th anniversary at Rothman Gordon.

WHEREAS, Allegheny County is blessed to have leaders who commit themselves wholeheartedly to serving and representing our region with the utmost dedication and professionalism; and
WHEREAS, for the past 25 years, Shelley Elovitz has dedicated himself to providing legal service to his clients with Rothman Gordon, a renowned Pittsburgh-area law firm; and
WHEREAS, as a shareholder at Rothman Gordon, Mr. Elovitz heads the Workers' Compensation and Social Security Department at Rothman Gordon; and
WHEREAS, throughout his career, Mr. Elovitz has counseled clients in workers' compensation, social security disability, long-term disability, personal injury, and wrongful discharge; and
WHEREAS, Mr. Elovitz has earned several credits to his name, including membership in the Allegheny County Bar Association, the Pennsylvania Bar Association, the American Arbitration Association Panel of Arbitrators, the Association of Trial Lawyers of America, the Pennsylvania Association for Justice, and the National Organization of Social Security Claimants Representatives; and
WHEREAS, additionally, Mr. Elovitz has been recognized for his excellent work in The Best Lawyers in America for more than a decade and is rated AV by Martindale-Hubbell;
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, Allegheny County Council joins with Rothman Gordon in celebrating Shelley Elovitz's 25 years of service. You have set a standard of excellence that serves as an inspiration to the members of this Council and to all the residents of Allegheny County, and we congratulate you on this momentous occasion.
