Motion of the Council of Allegheny County adopting the recommendation of the Executive Committee relating to formulation and implementation of a staffing plan for the Office of Allegheny County Council.

Whereas, Council’s Executive Committee met as scheduled on Monday, May 11, 2026 in order to consider paths forward for the Office of County Council in light of a change in staffing levels; and
Whereas, it is the desire of Council and the Committee to put the Committee’s recommendation from its May 11 meeting to a vote of the full Council, in order to be as inclusive as possible;
NOW THEREFORE, IT IS MOVED, BY THE COUNCIL OF ALLEGHENY COUNTY,
That this Council hereby adopts the recommendation of the Executive Committee relating to formulation and implementation of a staffing plan for the Office of Allegheny County Council as described herein.
